Singapore Flyer in short
The Singapore Flyer is an observation wheel at 30 Raffles Avenue, on the Marina Centre side of the bay. The ride takes you up to 165 m, and the views stretch across the water to the Gardens by the Bay, over the Esplanade and the river mouth and out to the skyline as a whole. You board a capsule for the ride, so there is time to look and take photographs.
For most visitors the Flyer is a one-hour stop that fits at the start or end of a walk around the water. The details below come from the operator's information as of October 2026, and prices and rules can change, so check the current terms when you buy. See things to do in Marina Bay for other places to combine with it.

Ticket prices
Standard tickets as of August 2026.
According to the operator's consumer brochure of August 2026, a standard ticket costs SGD 46 for adults and SGD 28 for children. Children in this price category are aged 3 to 12.
Check the current price at the booking page before you pay, since fares can change. Children up to and including 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are generally not refundable, exchangeable or extendable, apart from exceptions at the operator's discretion, so choose your date with care.

Opening hours
Daily, with no time slot to book.
The Flyer is open every day of the year, from 10:00 to 22:00. The last entry is at 21:30. For a regular visit you do not need to reserve a time slot, so you can decide on the day and buy your ticket then.
Because the wheel runs into the evening, it is one of the few paid attractions around the bay that you can still visit after the domes in the gardens have closed. The gardens' domes close at 21:00, with last entry earlier, while the Flyer stays open for another hour. That makes it an easy way to round off a day on the water. For the gardens' own hours, see the Gardens by the Bay page.
What you see from 165 m
The bay from above.
From the top you look over the whole bay. On one side lie the Gardens by the Bay. Straight ahead is the skyline as a whole, with the towers of the business district rising behind the water. Below you are the Esplanade with its two domed roofs, the promenade and the point where the Singapore River reaches the sea.
Choose your time with the weather in mind, since rain can limit what you see. The weather page explains the monsoon seasons and the wettest months. Use the wheel as a way to understand the layout of the bay before you explore it on foot, or as a way to look back at the places you have just walked through.
Getting there
On foot from Promenade station.
The Flyer is at 30 Raffles Avenue. The operator describes it as about 8 minutes on foot from Promenade station, which is on the Circle and Downtown lines. Esplanade station on the Circle Line is another option on the same side of the bay. If you are walking the promenade, the wheel stands at the Marina Centre end and is easy to find because it is visible from far away. The page getting there has the details for the airport and the stations.
